In the UK, life sentences have been handed down to the two men who murdered soldier Lee Rigby.
The older of the two, Michael Adebolajo, has been given a life sentence with no chance of parole, after the Judge said he has no prospect of rehabilitation and there is no mitigation.
The second man, Michael Adebowale, has been given a life sentence with a minimum non-parole period of 45 years.
The pair ran the soldier over near his Woolwich barracks in south-east London last May, before attacking him with knives and cleavers.
They were sentenced in their absence this evening, after shouting and fighting with prison guards in court.
