The mother of a Limerick toddler who fell from the sixth floor of a hotel roof in the city five and a half weeks ago says he has made a miraculous recovery.
Two year old Neil Shanahan fell from the roof of the Strand Hotel after wandering into a lift and climbing over a balcony on July 2nd.
After spending five and half weeks in Temple Street Children's Hospital he is now home and making a full recovery.
His Mum Martina Collins says it is a miracle and she can never thank the American nurse who helped him on the day.
