Many parents say they'Â’re struggling to cope with back to school expenses, as the latest figures show it costs 15 hundred euro a year for a secondary student.
The Credit Union Back to School Costs Survey reveals the average spend for a primary student is 1 thousand euro a year.
Laura is a mother of three children – aged 8, 10 and 15 – who’s struggling to afford their school expenses despite both she and her husband working.
It finds that a third of parents go into debt because of back to school costs.
