Dublin's Spire will become the world's largest lightsaber this evening ahead of the release of the new Star Wars film.

Midnight screenings of 'The Force Awakens' are sold out in venues across the country.

The Spire will light up to celebrate the film's launch according to Richard Guiney of Dublin Town.

But the big question is, will it be lit up Jedi blue or green - or Sith red?
