Locals living near DublinÂ’s Phoenix Park have raised concerns about a series of Ed Sheeran gigs next summer.
Fingal County Council wants the gigs moved to another location in the Park, saying residents will be inconvenienced.
180 thousand fans have tickets for the three concerts next May.

Councillor Howard Mahony says there are less residential and more accessible areas in the Phoenix Park.
Dublin City Council issued the following statement;
This matter is currently the subject of a live Outdoor Event License application that is the subject of a statutory process set out under the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended). It would therefore be inappropriate to comment on it at this time other than to say that the license has been lodged in compliance with the Planning and Development Regulations and any steps required to be taken as laid down by statute will be strictly adhered to during the course of the decision making process.
