Airspace over London has reopened, after a computer failure was resolved.
Eurocontrol - the organisation responsible for air traffic management - says the problem was caused by a technical problem at its Swanwick air traffic control centre in England.
However, there are still some delays at the moment affecting UK arrivals and departures, as well as some continental flights.
Aer Lingus says it intends to operate the remainder of its schedule tonight, but is warning there could be delays to UK flights, as well as those to parts of Europe.
Dublin Airport Authority is advising passengers to check with their airline before heading to the airport.
