The Government'Â’s been accused of neglecting Longford when it comes to jobs.

170 people are to lose their jobs at Cameron engineering after the plant announced it would cease most operations.

The Jobs Minister says there is a strategy for Longford, and that she'Â’s been in consultation with the IDA this morning.

Jobs Minister Mary Mitchell O'Connor and Public Expenditure Minister Leo Varadkar spoke to reporters earlier about the decrease in unemployment.
