A TD has claimed the cast of Love Island know more about the housing crisis than the Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy.
Dara Calleary's thoughts come with confusion surrounding Rebuilding Ireland home loans and whether there's any money still left for it.
His Party Fianna Fail claims the scheme is massively oversubscribed.
Meanwhile, Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy has said talks on funding for it are ongoing.
Deputy Calleary says the Minister doesn't have the answers:
"Frankly there are people on Love Island who know more about what's going on in the Irish housing market than Minister Murphy".
"His responses in relation to the rebuilding Ireland home loan scheme were absolutely ridiculous and frankly misleading the house".
