The Union representing Luas drivers is welcoming the fact that Transdev had stepped back from the hiring of private buses on St Patrick's Day.
Transdev and SIPTU are expected to engage in fresh talks this morning at the Workplace Relations Commission.
Transdev company's Managing Director Gerry Madden said they were "happy to engage in meaningful discussions."
And SIPTU Divisional organiser, Owen Reidy says they're looking forward to talks - but there is still a long way to go.
