Children are more than twice as likely to survive cancer than they were 40 years ago.

Figures from Cancer Research UK show since the early 1970s, the chances of a child surviving leukaemia has increased from 33 per cent to more than 85.

But Doctor Alan Worsley from the charity says the job's not done.
