A 153 million euro investment in Maynooth University has been announced.
76 million of that will come from the European Investment Bank, with the remainder coming from Maynooth University's own resources.
The monies will fund its Campus Master Plan, which contains provision for academic, research and residence development.
Professor Philip Nolan is President of Maynooth University.
He says this investment will allow the University to grow its student population by almost a third:
