The Archbishop of Dublin Diarmuid Martin has called for the protection of all life saying every human life is unique and must be cherished.
His comments come ahead of a demonstration by Pro-life who will take to the streets of Dublin this afternoon to protest the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill.
A number of amendments to the Bill will be tabled by the Health Minister next week - while junior Minister Lucinda Creighton has proposed several restrictive amendments to the legislation as well.
Action on X activists will stage a counter-demonstration, they're accusing Youth Defence, the pro-life group who've organised the march, as 'anti-woman'.
