A major pro-life rally is due to take place in Dublin city centre this afternoon.
It's due to get underway at the Garden of Remembrance at 2pm, with the opponents of the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill due to march across the city to Leinster House.
The pro-choice group Action On X says it will stage a silent counter-demonstration.
Meanwhile in Galway, the Galway Pro-Choice organisation will stage a protest outside the office of Galway East TD Colm Keaveney. The group says it's targeting the former Labour TD for his opposition to the X-Case legislation.
