A male cyclist in his 30s has been killed in a collision in Killarney, Co. Kerry.

The incident happened on the N22 at Scart, Farranfore at around 11.15am this morning when the cyclist collided with a car.

The driver and passenger of the car were uninjured.

The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
