A 50 year old male cyclist has been killed in Limerick.
He collided with a camper van at 11.45am on the N18 main Limerick to Galway Road near Bunratty.
His body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick.
Meanwhile Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses after a 91-year-old woman was hit by a car in Blackrock yesterday.
The collision happened on the Old Dublin Road in Stillorgan just after 4pm.
The woman suffered serious injuries and is in a critical condition at St. Vincent's University Hospital.
Gardai say she was struck by a beige coloured Saab.
