Gardaí are appealing for information after a man suffered serious injuries in an early morning assault in Dublin.
The 57 year old is in a serious condition at St James Hospital following the attack in Harold's Cross at about 4 am.
The man was discovered injured outside the Park View Apartments by emergency services.
Anyone who was in the Harold's Cross area between 3.30 am and 4 am is asked to contact Gardaí at Rathmines station.
In a separate attack, a man has been stabbed in Dublin's East Wall.
The man who is in his 30's was attacked in the car park of the Island Key apartments at about 9.20 pm.
He's being treated in the Mater Hospital for a number of injuries - however they're not believed to be life threatening.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
