A 69 year old man has died in a house fire in County Sligo.
The man was found dead at his home at Ballyconnell, Maugherow in North County Sligo, after the fire service were called to the scene at 7.20 this morning.
It's understood the fire had started some hours previously.
A forensic examination of the scene has now been completed, and the man's body has been removed to Sligo Regional Hospital.
