A man in his 20s has been airlifted to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, after falling down a cliff about a mile south of Bray Head in Co Wicklow.
The man had been out climbing with a large group when emergency services were alerted of the incident at around 4pm.
The Coastguard Helicopter 116, Greystones Coastguard Unit, and emergency services were mobilised.
The man is believed to have sustained head and back injuries.
Irish Rail services were suspended between Bray & Greystones while emergency services dealt with the incident.
