A 50-year-old man has appeared in court, charged in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Keane Mulready-Woods.

Gerard McKenna, of Rathmullen Park, Drogheda, Co Louth, is charged with impeding the apprehension or prosecution of another person in relation to the teenager's death.

The partial remains of Keane Mulready-Woods were discovered at two Dublin locations last month.

This morning's sitting of Drogheda District Court heard Gerard McKenna replied "no thanks, no" when charged last night.

No bail application was made and he's been remanded in custody to appear in Cloverhill District Court next Thursday.
