Gardai have arrested a man following a stand-off at a housing estate in Dublin.

Gardai were called to Cashel Road in Crumlin at 3.15 this afternoon, where a man had barricaded himself into a house.

The road was cordoned off while Gardai dealt with the situation.

The man is now in Garda custody.
