A man has been arrested after a stabbing in Co Limerick last night.

The incident happened at a pub on Wolfe Tone Street in Kilmallock at around 8pm last night.

Three men sustained apparent stab wounds during a row.

All three - who are in their 30s - were taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.

Their injuries are described as non life threatening.

A man (24) was arrested a short time later.

He's being held at Bruff Garda Station.

A knife was recovered by investigating gardaí, while an exam of the crime scene has also been carried out.
