A man has been arrested in connection with a Cork murder investigation.

The remains of 51-year-old John Ustic were discovered at his home in Skibbereen on the 25th of September.

Gardaí launched a murder investigation after a post-mortem found that he had been assaulted.

A 51 year old man was arrested in Tipperary this morning in connection with the investigation.

He is currently being detained at Bandon Garda Station.
