A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with a double murder in Ballymun in Dublin last month.

Antoinette Corbally and Clinton Shannon were shot dead at Balbutcher Drive on the 16th of August.

The man was arrested on Monday and is being detained at Ballymun Garda station.

He can be held for up to seven days.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal for information.
