A man in his 30's has been arrested in Dublin following a search operation targeting the sale and supply of illegal drugs.

Gardai carried out the vehicle searches in the Ballymun area earlier today.

Cocaine and illegal tablets with a combined estimated street value of 83,000 euro were seized.

Three vehicles were also seized during the operation.

The man arrested is being held Ballymun Garda Station where he can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
