A 32-year-old man's been arrested in connection with yesterday's fatal shooting in West Dublin.

The man in his 30s was shot dead at a youth centre on Shelerin Road, Clonsilla  at around 6 pm yesterday.

It's believed he was shot up to eight times - while a second man reportedly received gunshot wounds to his arm and is being treated at Connolly Hospital.

The being questioned by Gardaí was arrested in Co. Meath earlier this morning and is being detained at Blanchardstown Garda station under the provisions of section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

The scene at Shelerin Road has been sealed off and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
