Gardaí have charged a man in connection with the armed robbery of a shop in Dublin yesterday.
Two men entered the store in Neilstown at around 7am - after assaulting a staff member - and stole cigarettes and alcohol.
Gardai arrested a 44 year old man yesterday near the scene and located a firearm, a baton, and some of the goods in a follow up search.
The man remains in Garda custody and is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court, at 10.30 tomorrow morning.
His accomplice is still at large and Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
