A 26 year old man has been charged in connection with a major drug seizure in Dublin.

The man was arrested following the discovery of cocaine, with an estimated value of €1.5 million.

The search at a property on Rathmines Road Lower was part of an ongoing operation.

He was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking), Act at Rathmines Garda Station.

The man is being brought before Dublin District Court.
