A 49 year old man has been charged with the murder of Tipperary man Bobby Ryan.
The father of two from Boherlahan near Cashel was reported missing in June 2011.
Almost two years later, in April 2013, his remains were found hidden in an underground concrete tank on a farm at Fawnagowan, near Tipperary Town.
Following an investigation coordinated by the Gardaí in Tipperary town supported by the National Bureau Criminal Investigation, a file was submitted to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The 49 year old suspect was arrested in the Tipperary Town area this evening and charged by Gardaí with Mr Ryan's murder.
He will appear before Tipperary District Court tomorrow morning.
