A man in his 50's has been charged with the murder of Audrius Butkus, whose body was found on Mornington Beach in Co Meath 3 weeks ago.
The man was arrested on Monday in connection with the death of the 44 year old Lithuanian national.
He will appear at Dundalk District Court later this morning.
Mr Buktus had been living in Ireland for several years. Its believed he died after suffering a sustained assault.
A post mortem revealed he had been stabbed several times in the head.
Gardai believe he may have sustained his injuries elsewhere and was moved to Mornington Beach.
