A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Karen Buckley.
Alexander Pacteau did not enter a plea as he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court this afternoon.
Mr Pacteau is also charged with 'attempting to defeat the ends of justice'.
He did not enter any plea or declaration and has been remanded in custody, and is expected to appear in court again at some point next week.
Meanwhile Karen's parents and brother have been visiting Glasgow Caledonian University, where Karen studied Occupational Therapy.
Floral tributes have been placed, and a book of condolences has been opened.
The remains of the 24-year-old student from Cork were recovered on a farm north of the city on Wednesday.
