A 28-year-old man who was shot in west Belfast has died in hospital this morning.
The man, named locally as Edward Gibson, was attacked in lower Falls area yesterday evening.
The PSNI have arrested two men aged 33 and 30, and a 31-year-old woman.
The 30-year-old man who was arrested was treated in hospital for stab wounds, believed to have been sustained in a related incident.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the attack to contact them.
