Gardai have appealed for information to a hit and run in Dublin city last month.

An 87 year old man was knocked out of his wheelchair in the incident at Hanlon's Corner on the North Circular Road at around a quarter past four on Tuesday, the 30th of September.

Gardai believe he was hit by a white Mercedes truck, the driver of which failed to remain at the scene.

The injured man was taken to the Mater hospital but died earlier this month.

Gardai have appealed for the truck driver or any witnesses to the incident to contact them.
