Two separate inquiries are underway, following a man's death in an incident in a factory in Co. Kildare overnight.

The incident occurred at 8.30pm in the Green Isle factory on the Monread Road in Naas.

The 42 year old man was taken to Naas General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Gardai at Naas and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating the incident.
