A man in his early 30s has died following a crash in Donegal yesterday, bringing to six the number of road deaths in the county in ten days..

The accident happened when a car collided with a lorry at Tullyrap, Raphoe on the main Letterkenny to Lifford road at lunchtime yesterday.

The driver and passenger, a girl in her late teens, were brought to Letterkenny hospital, the truck driver was not injured.

The man died in the early hours of this morning.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
