A man in his 20s has died after a single car collision in Dublin.

It happened on the Adelaide Road in Glenageary at around 7.00am on Sunday morning.

The man, the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Garda forensic collision investigators are examining the area and the road is closed with diversions in place.
