Gardaí are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 32 year old man in the Tallaght area of Dublin.

Emergency services found the man when they were called to a house on Deerpark Avenue at 4.40 this morning.

The man's body remains at the scene and the office of the State Pathologist has been contacted.

Gardaí have sealed off the area and will be carrying out a technical examination.

No arrests have been made at this point.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the Deerpark Avenue area or who may have heard a disturbance in the early hours of this morning.
