A 31 year old man is due to appear in court after reports of shots being fired in Readstown, Summerhill in county Meath on Friday.
Gardai arrested two men - aged 19 and 31- under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act on Saturday.
Officers also recovered a firearm and ammunition following a Garda operation.
The 31 year old man is due to appear before the District Court at the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin this morning.
The 19 year old man has been released from Garda custody and is due to appear before Trim District Court at a later date.
