A man's had a narrow escape after a tree hit the jeep he was driving last night.
The incident occurred near Anglesborough, Co Limerick at around 11pm.
The man was taken to University Hospital Limerick where his condition is believed to be stable.
Meanwhile a large heavy duty electronic parking guidance sign was blown out onto Lower Mallow Street in Limerick, at around 11pm last night.
No one was injured in the incident.
Spokespersons for Limerick City and County Council and Clare County Council have said no major incidents have been reported after Storm Rachel.
