A man has suffered serious head injuries in an early morning assault in Dublin.

Emergency services were called to a night club at Airside in Swords at about 3.40am this morning (Sunday).

A seriously injured man in his 30's was found at the scene and rushed to Beaumont Hospital.

A Garda investigation is underway and officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the altercation.
