Gardaí have confirmed that a man has been seriously assaulted in Co Meath.
The 26-year-old was attacked at the Tailtean and Windtown Road area of Navan at around 2pm.
He's been taken to hospital where he's in a critical condition.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
