A man has appeared in court charged in connection with the death of Dublin man Kenneth O'Brien whose torso was found in a suitcase in the canal in Co Kildare last month.
48 year old Paul Wells from Barnamore Park in Finglas appeared before Cloverhill District Court this morning for a short hearing.
He's charged with the father of one's murder.
Garda Sgt Gerard Moore told the Judge that bail ‘was not an option’ in the district court - as it can only be dealt with at the High Court.
Paul Wells was further remanded in custody and is due back in court on the 16th March.
