A man in his 30's will appear before Cork District Court this morning in connection with the seizure of arms on Friday.
Gardaí in Blarney discovered a shotgun and ammunition during the search of a car.
A man and woman, both in their 30's, were arrested at the scene.
The woman has since been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
