The man charged with murdering Irish student Karen Buckley in Glasgow is due to appear in court this morning.

21 year old Alexander Pacteau will appear in court in the first major development in the case since he was charged with her murder last April.

24 year old Karen Buckley - a nursing student from Mourneabbey in Co Cork - was found dead on a farm outside Glasgow, four days after going missing from a nightclub in the city on Sunday April 12th.
