New charges have been brought against a man allegedly caught red handed with a sword outside Leinster House.
Jordan Buckley of Kells Road, Crumlin is accused of trespassing on the grounds with the blade back in April.
Jordan Buckley is accused of being armed with a sword in the front yard of Leinster House on Apr 29th.
On that date, it's alleged that he somehow made his way past the plinth with the blade at around 4.30pm before being tackled by Gardai.
The house was not sitting that day but members of the Dáil and members of the public were in the area.
The 19-year-old was originally charged with just one offence of possession of a weapon but the DPP has decided to bring three new charges.
They include trespassing with an offensive weapon, trespassing with intent to cause fear and resisting arrest.
The charges will be dealt with at District Court level and the unemployed teenager was remanded on bail to appear in court again on Oct 22nd.
He's due to enter a plea or seek a hearing on that date.
