A man in his 40's remains in Garda custody in Galway this morning in connection with the death of 41 year old Adrian Folan, whose body was found yesterday in a quarry near the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare.
The 41 year old - originally from Carraroe in Galway - had been missing from his home in Athlone since Thursday night.
The scene where Mr Folan's body was discovered had been sealed off, and a house in carraroe Co.Galway was also being examined as part of this investigation.
A man arrested in Connemara yesterday remains in custody at Mill street Garda Station in Galway city this morning.
