A man in his 20's has died after being assaulted at a bonfire in Neilstown in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
Gardai believe the man was at a bonfire at St Marks at 10 past three this morning when he was chased by a number of people across the Neilstown Road into Liscarne Gardens where he was assaulted and died.
The father in his mid twenties banged on the door of the house for help but died shortly afterwards.

There have been no arrests but Gardai are appealing for help in finding a number of people who were seen jumping over the back wall of the house onto the Neilstown Road.
The body has been removed from the scene and a post mortem is due to be carried out.
Gardai at Ronanstown are appealing for anyone who was in the area of St Marks, Neilstown road and Liscarne Gardens at the time to contact them.
