A man in his 30s has been shot dead in Dublin this evening.

Gardai are investigating after his body was found with gunshot wounds at Griffeen Valley Park in Lucan shortly after 8pm.

The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.

Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything in and around the Grifeen Valley Park area this evening to contact Lucan Garda Station, The Garda Confidential line or any Garda Station.
