An overnight fire has claimed the life of a man in his 70's in Cork.

The fire which is thought to have been accidential broke out at a house at Kellehers Buildings, Dillions Cross.

Fire personel arrived at the scene just after 4am.

The scene has been sealed off pending further examinations.
