A man has been seriously injured in a suspected electrocution incident at an Eason store in Limerick city.
It happened around a quarter to 12 this afternoon at the shop located on O'Connell Street and Cruises street.
The store has been closed until further notice.
ESB crews are on site liaising with management.
In a statement the company says: "ESB Networks is aware of an incident which took place earlier today on O’Connell Street in Limerick. ESB Networks is currently assisting the emergency services and the HSA as they investigate this incident. No further information is available at this time.
