A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being shot in Dublin this morning.
It happened at the Dun Emer estate in Lusk at ten to ten.
The man - who is in his late 30s - was shot a number of times.
He's now been treated at Beaumont Hospital.
A Volkswagon Golf was seen leaving the area and was discovered burnt out at Kilhedge Lane in Lusk a short time later.
Gardai are appealing to any witnesses to come forward.
